Description: Cat® Elbow adapters are held to the highest standards of quality and reliability. This elbow adapter is manufactured with high density to exacting tolerances to ensure leak free connections. Each Cat Fluid Carrying Adapter is designed to meet or exceed industry standards for operating pressure, assembly torque capability, and corrosion protection to ensure a long life and proper machine functionality. Designed to meet or exceed the performance of industry standard parts. Adapter construction may differ slightly from the image depicted, but the part is designed to be interchangeable with the OEM part.
Application: Cat® Adapters are designed to connect fluid carrying hoses and tubes to other system components and are used in the fuel lines system of the Cat engines. Consult your owner’s manual or contact your local Cat Dealer for more information.
Improper selections of hose and coupling combinations will void warranties and may result in serious personal injury or death, property damage, or component and machine system failure. Cat® hose assembly products are designed and tested as a system to achieve a reliable connection, thus maximizing hydraulic system safety and dependability. It is also recommended that appropriate and properly maintained Caterpillar tooling is used to ensure hoses are crimped to specifications. Use of Caterpillar hose with other manufacturer’s couplings or the use of Caterpillar couplings with other manufacturer’s hose may result in the production of unreliable, unsafe or under-performing hose assemblies. It is not recommended or authorized by Caterpillar. For additional information see SAE J1273 section 6.3 and ISO 17165-2 section 6.3.
