Description: A Thrust Plate is a component used to absorb and distribute the recoil forces generated during the operation of a recoil-operated mechanism. Its primary function is to transmit the recoil forces from the bolt assembly to the frame, effectively distributing and managing the energy generated by the firing process.
Attributes: • Designed to withstand the high pressures and forces • Rockwell hardness is C 45-50 • Acts as a friction surface and helps to absorb and redirect the recoil energy • Manufactured with steel to handle the repeated impact and sliding action during recoil
Applications: A Thrust Plate is used in the telescoping recoil frame, this is mostly used in Cat 5110 D10, D10N, D10R, D10T and D9L Track Type Tractor.
