Description: An Internal Retaining Ring, also known as an internal snap ring or circlip, is a type of fastener used to secure and retain components within a bore or housing. Unlike external snap rings that fit over a shaft or pin, internal snap rings are installed inside a bore or groove to hold components in place. The main purpose of an internal snap ring is to prevent axial movement or displacement of components within a bore or housing. It acts as a retaining device, securely holding components such as bearings, shafts, or seals.
Attributes: • Manufactured to a precise specification and are built for durability, reliability, and productivity. • Made of durable materials that provide strength and resistance to corrosion. • The compressed snap ring is inserted into the groove or recess in the bore.
Applications: An Internal Retaining Ring is used to secure and hold the bearing in its position in the tilt cylinder.
