Description for part number 283-0056

Description:
Cat adapter connectors secure and protect wiring harness connection points. Cat adapters are used as connection points for conflicted/nonstandard sized components.

Attributes:
• Half of a self-locking nylon 3 pin wiring adapter
• Heat shrink retention feature
• Window must be broken on one half to complete connection
• Optional self tapping screw slots for extra strength

Application:
Adapters are used to allow engine electronics to meet wiring harness standards and to connect incompatible wire connections. Consult your owner's manual or contact your local Cat dealer for more information.
