Description: Cat® Fluid Carrying Quick Disconnectors are held to the highest standards of quality, reliability and durability. These quick disconnectors are manufactured to exacting tolerances to ensure leak free connections. Each Cat Fluid Carrying Quick Disconnector is designed to meet or exceed industry standards, where applicable, for operating pressure and corrosion protection to ensure a long life and proper machine functionality.
Attributes: • Fluid carrying component with quick connect and disconnect capability • Designed to meet or exceed the performance of industry standard parts and provide leak free connections • The image provided is for reference only. Quick Disconnector construction may differ slightly from the image depicted, but the part is designed to be interchangeable with the OEM part.
Applications: Quick disconnectors are designed for specific applications where they connect fluid carrying hoses and tubes to other system components. These parts allow for quick coupling and uncoupling of fluid carrying hoses and tubes in order to change implements on a machine or perform regular maintenance functions that require the connection or disconnection of fluid carrying lines. It is also recommended that appropriate and properly maintained Caterpillar tooling is used to ensure hoses are crimped to specifications. Use of Caterpillar hose with other manufacturer’s couplings or the use of Caterpillar couplings with other manufacturer’s hose may result in the production of unreliable, unsafe or under-performing hose assemblies.
