The Wear Bar Wedge provides wear resistance and protection to the compactor rotor against abrasive materials and harsh operating conditions. The wear bar wedge features a unique wedge-shaped profile with a 30-degree angle relative to the rotor axis. This specific angle is chosen to optimize material flow and compaction efficiency while minimizing wear and material buildup on the rotor surface. Its positioning along the rotor surface is determined to optimize wear resistance, compaction efficiency, and material flow dynamics.
Attributes: • Deflects incoming material, disperses compaction forces evenly, and minimizes localized wear • Act as a protective barrier, shielding the compactor rotor from abrasive wear and damage caused by compacted materials
Applications: The Wear Bar Wedge is used to enhance the performance and durability of the compactor's rotor assembly and also serves as a wear surface that helps to maintain optimal compaction efficiency
