Cat Reman electric starting mortors such as part # 20R-1312 built to work hard and deliver reliable performance even in tough, dirty, bitter-cold conditions, and are designed to handle the high current needed when cranking cold engines. Every time. The Brush-Type Design uses one-piece brushes for less maintenance, and constant-pressure springs for even brush wear. Cat Reman Starters are engineered to be part of a balanced electrical system, working in unison with the rest of your Cat engine components. We include all critical engineering updates, and testing against original Caterpillar specs (not reverse-engineered values aftermarket brands use) so you know you’re getting genuine Cat reliability. Off-the-shelf availability minimizes your down time, and all Cat Reman products come with a same-as-new warranty. And because you’re leveraging the ‘second life’ built into every Cat part, you get it at a fraction of the cost.
