Description: A Permanent Coupling for drive lines is a mechanical device used to connect two rotating shafts or components in a drive system. It provides a permanent and rigid connection, transmitting torque and rotational motion between the two shafts.
Attributes: • Resistant to wear and corrosion. • Withstands high pressures, vibration, and external forces. • For 12.7 mm Inner Diameter Hose.
Applications: A Permanent Coupling is used to connect the drive shafts of motors, engines, and turbines to various driven components such as pumps, generators, compressors, and conveyors. They efficiently transmit torque and rotational motion from the power source to the driven equipment.

Cat® hose assembly products are designed and tested as a system to achieve a reliable connection, thus maximizing hydraulic system safety and dependability. It is also recommended that appropriate and properly maintained Caterpillar tooling is used to ensure hoses are crimped to specifications. Use of Caterpillar hose with other manufacturer’s couplings or the use of Caterpillar couplings with other manufacturer’s hose may result in the production of unreliable, unsafe or under-performing hose assemblies.
