Description:
A relief valve for a fuel pump, also known as a pressure relief valve or bypass valve, is a critical component in the fuel system of an internal combustion engine. It is designed to regulate and control the pressure within the fuel system by allowing excess fuel to bypass back to the fuel tank. The relief valve ensures proper pressure regulation within the fuel system, protecting components and maintaining efficient and safe fuel delivery.
Attributes:
• It is suitable for an 8mm Inner Diameter hose.
• 100% Air decay Leak tested at 1 bar, the leakage to be less than 0.3cc per minute.
• 100% valve closed check tested at 25 kPa, the flow to be less than 20 L/min.
• 100% valve open check tested at 55 kPa, the flow to be a minimum of 35 L/min
Applications:
A relief valve for a fuel pump prevents excessive pressure buildup by releasing fluid when the safety threshold has been reached. It is extensively used in Cat 272D, 297D, and 299D Skid Steers, 304, 305, 305.5, 306, 307.5, 313, 317, M314 and M315 Excavators, C1.7, C2.2 and C3.6 Engine (Piston), C3.3, C4.4, D40, D50, ORDS6SCS and XQ35 Generator Set, CB2.5, CB2.7, CB2.9, CB4.0, CB4.4, CC2.7, CC4.0, CP-533E and CS-533E Compactor, CS-433E Paving Equipment, SR5 Generator (Power).
