Extreme service track shoes are both stronger to resist bending and breaking and have more allowable wear material than the moderate service track shoe. Extreme service track shoes are rolled from tough alloy steel.
• Positive Pin Retention (PPR) track has a metal retaining ring pressed into the groove between the pin and the link. This prevents end-play generation and helps ensure oil retention in high impact applications.
