The Seal and Wear Sleeve Installer Tool features a cylindrical body with a tapered end that is precisely shaped to apply even pressure across the surface of the seal and also the wear sleeve. This tapered design allows the tool to gradually and gently guide the seal into its proper position during installation, or to carefully remove the seal without causing damage to the surrounding components.
Attributes:
• Prevents tearing or deformation of the seal during installation
• Align the seal with the bore and using the driver to carefully press it in until it is fully seated
Applications:
The Seal and Wear Sleeve Installer Tool is used in the crankshaft rear seal to install and also helps ensure the oil seal is properly aligned and seated squarely in the axle housing bore or other mounting location. Misalignment can cause leaks or uneven seal wear.
